This is what I'm making the front floorboards out of...an old set off an FLH for the rear passenger. I cut one up and this shows what I'm starting with. Basically, it's just the floorboard plate itself, minus all of the bracketry. I will make all the mounts for the frame and pivots, etc..

Front Floorboards

Not much to see here but a double function with the rear mount on this side. The rear mount will also be the end nut for the pedal shaft/pivot. The pieces I'm using are tapered. Both sides will be from the same style tapered stock then I'll put a pivot clevis on bottom of each foot board in 2 places. There's no way one mount is enough tokeep a foot board from breaking off...
This is for RIDING.
