Terry's Softail Custom... Seat and Backrest Fitment!!The seat slid right in close to the tank and fits the fender well too. This is a seat we carry and it's made especially for these self-supporting strut-less rear fenders. The fender is 8 1/2" wide on the outside. The seat contours perfect to go with that heavy plated area at the front end of the fender. Sits nice and low too. Here's the P-Pad "stuck" on the bike...these reallyare kinda nice (they are available from us, of course). I had to go ahead and get it now so I can start making the sissy bar behind it... Here's a side and back view of the sissy bar I made. Instead of the set screws in the side of the mounts on the rear fender that I added earlier, I decided to drill and thread bottom of the bar itself and this way the countersunk mounting bolts will be completely hidden. |
