I spent 9 days in the hospital and I left with the cough fully intact. Gotta love doctors NOT paying attention to what you say.
When got out of there, my pipes at home had frozen. NO water in the house..... Luckily, I missed the 0 degree temperatures while my heat wasn't working. My brother-in-law fixed the heat while I was in the hospital. I also missed the 11 inches of snow we got. Luckily, one of my neighbors shoveled my path from the sidewalk to the front door (which is about 100 feet from the sidewalk). I can no longer shovel that path.
So, all in all, not that bad as hospital trips go, except I still have this damn cough. I was hoping that being in the hospital, they would finally figure it out and solve it, but no.....
On a more positive note, I am almost back on the transplant list. another rollercoaster ride. I was "activated" and then "deactivated" in about 5 minutes last Tuesday. I now have 2 more tests to complete. I am getting really fucking fed up with these test that keep being added AFTER I was told all the testing was done.
