Fuel line question

Post by olddaze » Thu Apr 19, 2018 11:20 am

Running the thru the tank petcock with the 1941-49 rod seat (oem 62075-40). Wondering if the threads for the fuel line are the same as the ones on a linkert fuel strainer.

Just saw this. I should know this right off the top but I need to look at the oem fuel filter threads . Do you have the linkert fuel strainer already?

Youll need to make sure the fuel strainer threads are same as threads on the fuel line ...there are 2 styles of strainers as there are 2 styles of fuel lines . There's a difference in how the line is shaped too. For the 50-65 style line 62352-50,youll need the strainer 62250-50 for all the threads to match.

Bought one from Lowbrow. Should be here in a day or two. Took a gamble. It's a Colony non-oem one cuz the fuel outlet is a barb. They didn't specify what the inlet was.
